LCOM - Sketch #71 - Reveal

Happy Saturday morning everyone and Happy Mother's Day weekend to all the moms out there!  Jocelyne, here, and I'm very excited to be part of the coordinating team this round.  I have the privilege to present to you awesome sketches and the works that my team of very talented artists have created. How fitting that for my first reveal we have Page Drafts sketches with butterflies!  Perfect timing with the beautiful spring weather we are so lucky to have now, plus I love butterflies.   I simply love what everyone created with these beautiful sketches.

Oh! I almost forgot! The sketch was none other than by the fabulous Laura Whitaker. It's actually LCOM's Sketch #70 for which you have until May 31st to submit your designs.

Join us again later on today when Isabelle will announce the winners of the April sketch challenges and the NSD celebrations! Woo!Hoo! Oh! And come visit us again on Thursday, when Jocelyne will give another shuffle to a scrappy product and show us how to use it in a brand-new scrappy way!

12x 12 step program of craft Addicts:
1. Realize and admit you are a scrapping addict.
2. Come to believe that only retail therapy in the nearest craft store can satisfy the deep longing in your mind for more tools and supplies.
3. Make a quality decision when you feel the urge to shop or crop get your best scrap buddy to go with you.
4. make a list of all your favorite companies and send email wish lists to friends and family who might want to buy you something...
5. If you get caught shopping with he money tell him it’s a gift –to yourself.
6. Make a conscious decision to buy your best scrapping friend one tool or supply pack per year, this counteracts selfish purchases.
7. if you run out of money humbly ask your mom for some –she understands you have needs
8. Send everyone on your Christmas card list a hello card this month.
9. Consider every sale that’s at least 50%off.
10. Make at least one project for yourself every 3 months, instead of giving them all away.
11. go through all your scrapbook supplies every 6 months and give one item to a brand new scrapper.
12 take pics of everything you create then make a scrapbook with those pics and post it on facebook.

This merry band of thousands of cardmakers is made up of Americans – and citizens of other nations too – who care about our military, and want to support them through creativity and encouragement. Many thousands of crafters of all ages and levels of experience have participated since 2007!

Care packages filled with hundreds of handmade cards are sent to our contacts, restocking every 6-8 weeks, and are sent in time for the long journey back home to loved ones.
